Author Spotlight- Sue Ann Jaffarian

It's author spotlight and today's goes out to Sue Ann Jaffarian. Sue Ann is the author of the Odelia Grey Mystery Series and The Ghost of Granny Apples mystery series.

Like the character Odelia Grey, Sue Ann Jaffarian is a full-time, middle-aged, paralegal. She lives in Los Angeles with her beloved cats, B and Raffi.

Sue Ann heard the siren call of writing early in her life, but did not make the commitment to become a novelist until about 1995. After completing two novels (still unpublished), she turned her attention to the mystery genre, and fell in love.

She now has over 20 published novels and numerous short stories to her credit in both mystery and non-mystery. Sue Ann also currently serves as the Vice President of the Southern California Chapter of Mystery Writers of America.

Under the pen name of Meg Chambers, Sue Ann writes the Winnie Wilde steamy romance series. This is a new adventure for Sue Ann and hopefully for her readers who enjoy that genre. Unlike her other series, the Winnie Wilde books contain graphic sexual scenes and adult language.

Sue Ann Jaffarian is available for speaking engagements. In addition to being a motivational speaker, she has also performed professionally as a stand-up comic, and will bring her own brand of humor and view of the world to your next event.

She is also happy to connect with libraries and book clubs via Skype or conference calls.

Her advice to budding writers:

•Write, write, write.
•Make a schedule and stick to it.
•Don't lose sight of your dreams and goals, because only you can make them happen.
•Don't let anyone, I mean anyone, pee on your parade!
