Today's Spotlighted author is Joanne Fluke! Joanne is the author of the Hannah Swenson Mystery Series. Have you read this series? Do you have a favorite one in the series?
Like Hannah Swensen, Joanne Fluke grew up in a small town in rural Minnesota where her neighbors were friendly, the winters were fierce, and the biggest scandal was the spotting of unidentified male undergarments on a young widow’s clothesline. She insists that there really are 10,000 lakes and the mosquito is NOT the state bird.
While pursuing her writing career, Joanne has worked as: a public school teacher, a psychologist, a musician, a private detective’s assistant, a corporate, legal, and pharmaceutical secretary, a short order cook, a florist’s assistant, a caterer and party planner, a computer consultant on a now-defunct operating system, a production assistant on a TV quiz show, half of a screenwriting team with her husband, and a mother, wife, and homemaker.
She now lives in Southern California with her husband, her kids, his kids, their three dogs, one elderly tabby, and several noisy rats in the attic.

This series is an old favorite that I return to time and again . I can't really pick a favorite , I enjoy them all !
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kathy Gonzales!
ReplyDeleteI love this series! A favorite is hard to choose. I love Hannah and enjoy the other characters. It's light and enjoyable. All around great reads!
ReplyDeleteI love the series although I have only been reading it for about 10 years. I don't think I can pick a favorite but I love the fact that Ms Fluke has allowed character development over the years. I adore the sisters.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite series. No favorite book in series; I'm sure I enjoy them all. Just got the latest one from the library. I've been reading them since there were only about two books in the series. I remember discovering and buying Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder (book # 1) at Barnes & Noble because I was drawn to the cute cover of an animal cookie jar with its mouth open (Oh no, there's been a murder!).
