FIRST IN A NEW SERIES!

In Rudolph, New York, it’s Christmastime all year long. But this December, while the snow-lined streets seem merry and bright, a murder is about to ruin everyone’s holiday cheer…

As the owner of Mrs. Claus’s Treasures, Merry Wilkinson knows how to decorate homes for the holidays. That’s why she thinks her float in the semi-annual Santa Claus parade is a shoe-in for best in show. But when the tractor pulling Merry’s float is sabotaged, she has to face facts: there’s a Scrooge in Christmas Town.

Merry isn’t ready to point fingers, especially with a journalist in town writing a puff piece about Rudolph’s Christmas spirit. But when she stumbles upon the reporter’s body on a late night dog walk—and police suspect he was poisoned by a gingerbread cookie crafted by her best friend, Vicky—Merry will have to put down the jingle bells and figure out who’s really been grinching about town, before Vicky ends up on Santa’s naughty list…

  1. Rest Ye Murdered Gentlemen sounds like a delightful book! I am looking forward to reading it. As for my favorite holiday memory, any time spent with is a wonderful memory. One year (when my nephew was a little guy), he received a package of Sonic underwear (he asked for it as a present). He made us (the adults) wear them (underwear) on our heads! Thank you for the giveaway.

  11. Thank you for the giveaway! My favorite memory of Christmas is decorating the tree. My dad would start a fire, mom would put on Christmas carols and we'd shift through our ornaments, both homemade and store bought. It was always an amazing afternoon. smmolloy1105@yahoo.com

  14. Yes, I'd love to be entered to win, I have been looking forward to this! My favorite holiday memory was the year the kids were up early, and thinking no one else was/or could hear them, my older convinced my younger to start dumping the stockings out, 'just to check'. It was hysterical. Thanks so much for the chance to win Vicki's new book!

  17. What a great idea, to ask for favorite holiday memories! Along with Christmas with my husband, his daughters and our grandbabies while my mom-in-law was still with us, I remembered Christmas when our school did the annual Christmas Eve services, when I was too young to care what my voice sounded like, just singing the worship service with my whole heart...just there to sing praises to God and hoping to do my father proud. So many years ago! jeaniedannheim (at) ymail (dot) com

  18. My favorite holiday memory is the Christmas we were expecting our first child. Since I was restricted to how far I could travel my parent's brought Christmas to my husband and me. What a delight to spend Christmas with my parents as well as my new mother in law. Thankfully our daughter didn't decide to make her appearance until three days later but when she did it was like Christmas all over again.

  19. My favorite holiday memory was how we found our Christmas tree. I grew up in South Dakota in a rural area. We didn't have evergreen trees growing in the area to find one for a Christmas tree. So our parents would buy one in town and then Dad would hide it somewhere on our farm acreage. Then on a Saturday shortly before Christmas, we kids would be told to go find our tree. Sometimes we found it quickly and sometimes it took us hours. Sometimes when we finally came back with our tree, Mom would have fresh homemade donuts and hot chocolate for us. I have many other great holiday memories but the tree hunt is one of my best. I am looking forward to this book. Christmas themed books are the best!

  24. I have so many great Christmas memories but one of the best was the year I had just gotten my first apartment and was in College. My Dad had gotten me a huge Christmas Tree and brought it by and helped me decorate it. We found a note from a little boy in Canada hanging in the tree. I remember sitting that night reading and drinking a pot of tea out of my English teapot and the old Victorian room looked so cozy and later wrapping Presents to take home. Love the cover of the book.
